Nationella regler från januari 2026

Från den 1 januari 2026 gäller nya regler för SFI. Enligt de nya reglerna kan du studera SFI i totalt högst tre år. Reglerna gäller också dig som har studerat SFI före den 1 januari 2026, även om du inte studerar SFI nu. Därför är det viktigt att du planerar dina studier och avslutar SFI inom tre år. National Regulations from January 2026

As of 1 January 2026, new SFI regulations will apply. Under the new rules, you can study SFI for a total maximum of three years. The rules also apply to those who studied SFI before January 1, 2026, even if they are not currently enrolled in SFI. Therefore, it is important that you plan your studies and complete SFI within three years.

Planeringsdagar 17–18 juni

Den 17 och 18 juni har personalen på Tora Vega Folkhögskola planeringsdagar. Det blir därför inga vanliga lektioner dessa dagar. I stället får eleverna hemuppgifter att arbeta med. Mentorerna informerar om uppgifterna och vad som gäller.

Den 19 juni är det midsommarafton och skolan håller stängt. Vi önskar alla elever en trevlig midsommar! 🌷

SFI och SMF+ under sommaren

Från och med vecka 26 går vi in i sommarperioden. Under veckorna 26–32 har personalen på skolan semester under olika perioder, vilket innebär att vissa grupper kommer att ha vikarier under delar av sommaren.

Nedan hittar du viktig information om studieverkstad och projektarbete under sommaren.

Studieverkstad under sommaren

Studieverkstaden är till för dig som vill ha extra stöd och hjälp med dina hemuppgifter. 

Vecka 26–28: Studieverkstad online

Under veckorna 26–28 erbjuds studieverkstad online varje torsdag kl. 13.00–15.00.

Under vecka 30 erbjuds studieverkstad både på skolan i Lund och online.

Projektarbete vecka 29–30

Under vecka 29 arbetar alla deltagare på SFI och SMF+ med projektuppgifter. Det innebär att du arbetar med obligatoriska uppgifter på valfri plats.

För deltagare på Studieväg 3 i Lund fortsätter projektarbetet även under vecka 30.

Tänk på att lämna in dina uppgifter enligt din mentors instruktioner. Uppgifterna måste lämnas in för att din närvaro ska kunna registreras.

Din mentor kommer att informera dig om projektet och vad som gäller för just din grupp.

Öppettider i receptionen i Lund

Planning Days – June 17–18

On June 17 and 18, the staff at Tora Vega Folk High School will have planning days. There will be no regular classes on these days.

Instead, students will receive assignments to work on at home. Your mentor will give you information about the assignments and what you need to do.

June 19 is Midsummer Eve, and the school will be closed. We wish all students a happy Midsummer! 🌷

SFI and SMF+ During the Summer

Starting from Week 26, we enter the summer period. During Weeks 26–32, members of the school staff will be on vacation at different times, which means that some groups may have substitute teachers during parts of the summer.

Study Workshop During the Summer

The Study Workshop is available for students who would like extra support and help with their assignments.

Weeks 26–28: Online Study Workshop

During Weeks 26–28, the Study Workshop will be offered online every Thursday from 13.00-15.00

Week 30: Study Workshop On-Site and Online

During Week 30, the Study Workshop will be available both at the school in Lund and online.

Project Work – Weeks 29–30

During Week 29, all SFI and SMF+ students will work on project assignments. This means that you will complete mandatory assignments from a location of your choice.

For students in Study Path 3 in Lund, the project work will continue during Week 30 as well.

Please remember to submit your assignments according to your mentor’s instructions. Assignments must be submitted in order for your attendance to be registered.

Your mentor will provide more information about the project and the arrangements for your specific group.

Reception Opening Hours in Lund

The reception in Lund is open Monday–Thursday from 8:30to 12:30.

The reception is closed on Fridays and will be closed during week 29.

Ledighet från studier

Sommaren är på ingång. Inför detta vet vi att många planerar att vara lediga eller åka iväg. Vi vill påminna om att SFI pågår året runt och har inga lov. Om ni planerar att vara lediga är det viktigt att tänka på och läsa nedanstående information om rätten till ledigheter beroende på vilken kommun ni tillhör.

• Deltagare som bor i Staffanstorps kommun

Staffanstorps kommun har bestämt att man inte får ledighet under sin studietid på SFI. Vill du ta ledigt från studier hänvisar vi till din kommun med ansökan. Om din kommun beviljar ledighet behöver du meddela skolan och lämna in en ansökan.

• Deltagare som bor i Lunds eller Burlövs kommun.

Du har möjlighet att ansöka om max tre veckors ledighet under ett studieår. Ledighetsansökan bedöms utifrån närvaro, studieaktivitet och progression. För en giltig frånvaro behöver du få din ansökan godkänd innan du tar ledigt. 

Om du planerar att vara ledig så behöver du lämna in din ledighetsansökan så snart som möjligt, senast två veckor innan planerad ledighet. Du ansöker om ledighet genom att klicka på följande länk: https://toravega.se/leave-request/ . Observera att vi inte tar ansvar för eventuellt ekonomiskt bortfall orsakat av ledighet från studier.

Tillsammans skapar vi trivsel

Vi har en fantastisk arbets- och studiemiljö och vi vill påminna alla om att det är viktigt att vi tillsammans tar ansvar för att ta hand om och underhålla detta.

• Ställ i ordning efter dig och se till att det ser snyggt ut när du lämnar ett klassrum eller annat rum i våra lokaler. 

• Det är endast tillåtet att ta med sig vatten in i klassrummen. Ni får gärna dricka kaffe och annan dryck i loungen. 

• Använd gärna kylskåpet i loungen för att förvara lunch och annan mat under skoltiden. Tänk dock på att slänga eller ta med dig resterna hem.

• Avfall/sopor ska alltid slängas i avsett sopkärl. 

• Inga skor på möbler och liknande.

• Utrymningsvägarna måste alltid vara fria och inte blockerade.

• Det är viktigt att man inte står och röker vid skolans ingång utan att man går längre ut på gatan när man ska röka.

Elscooter inomhus.

Tänk på att inte ställa din Elscooter så att den inte blockerar dörrar eller utrymningsvägar. Det är också viktigt att tänka på att batteriet måste förvaras i en brandsäker väska och batteriet får inte laddas inomhus!

Kaffe och annan dryck i lokalerna

Det är endast tillåtet att ta med sig vatten in i klassrummen. Ni får gärna dricka kaffe och annan dryck i loungen. Tack för förståelsen och hjälp med detta!

Nöt- och parfymfri skola

På grund av allergier är det viktigt att tänka på att vi är en nöt- och parfymfri skola.

Rökning

Det är viktigt att man inte står och röker vid skolans ingång utan att man går längre ut på gatan när man ska röka.

Cykelparkering

Cykelparkering finns längs med gågatan. Tänk på att det inte är tillåtet att parkera cyklar på innergården. Tack för förståelsen och hjälp med detta!

Time Off from Studies

Summer is approaching. We know that many of you are planning to take time off or travel during this period.

We would like to remind you that SFI runs all year round and does not have any breaks. If you are planning for a leave from studies, it is important that you read the information below about the right to leave, depending on which municipality you belong to.

• Students Living in Staffanstorp Municipality
  Staffanstorp Municipality has decided that SFI students cannot take leave during their studies. If you wish to take time off, you must apply directly to your municipality. If your application is approved, you must inform the school and submit the approved application.

• Students Living in Lund or Burlöv Municipalities
  You may apply for a maximum of three weeks of leave per year. Leave applications are evaluated based on attendance, study activity, and progress. To ensure your absence is excused, you must have your application approved before taking leave.

If you plan to take time off, please submit your leave application as soon as possible, no later than two weeks before your planned leave. You can apply using the following link: https://toravega.se/leave-request/. Please note that we are not responsible for any financial losses that may result from taking time off from studies.

If you plan to be away from studies for more than three weeks, you must apply for an interruption and reapply for SFI through your municipality when you want to restart your studies.

Together We Make Our School Welcoming

We have a fantastic work and study environment, and we want to remind everyone that it is important that we all take responsibility for maintaining the space we use.

• When you leave a classroom, please ensure the lights are turned off, windows and doors are closed, and the space is tidy.

• Please note that only water is allowed in the classrooms. You are welcome to drink coffee and other drinks in the lounge.

• Feel free to use the refrigerator in the lounge to store your lunch and other food during school hours. However, please remember to throw away any leftovers or take them home with you. 

• Trash, especially paper cups, should always be disposed of in the appropriate bins.

• No shoes on furniture or similar surfaces.

• Emergency exits must always be clear and not obstructed.

• Remember that it is not allowed to stand near the entrance when smoking.

Electric Scooters Indoors                                                                                          

Please ensure that your scooter does not block doors or emergency exits. It's also important to remember that the battery must be stored in a fireproof bag and cannot be charged indoors.

Coffee and Other Drinks,

Please note that only water is allowed in the classrooms. You are welcome to drink coffee and other drinks in the lounge. Thanks for your understanding and help! 

Nut and Perfume-free School

Our school has students and staff who are allergic to nuts and perfumes. Therefore, we want to remind you that this school is nut—and perfume-free.

Smoking

Please remember that it is not allowed to stand near the entrance when smoking.

Bicycle Parking

Please park on the bicycle stands along the street outside. It is not allowed to park in the door yard.
