Vi vill påminna alla om att fylla i utvärderingen för SFI. Vi är väldigt tacksamma för er feedback i era SFI-studier.
Era svar är viktiga och hjälper oss att utveckla och förbättra undervisningen.

Ändrade öppettider i receptionen i Lund

Med start denna vecka kommer receptionen i Lund endast vara öppen måndag–onsdag kl. 08.00–12.30. På torsdagar och fredagar är receptionen stängd. Du kan när receptionen är stängd alltid kontakta oss via mejl: sfiinfo@toravega.se Eller ringa: 046-461 52 00.

Studieverkstad i Lund

På Studieverkstaden kan du få hjälp och stöd i dina studier och hemuppgifter även efter lektionstid.

-Välkommen till studieverkstaden på tisdagar och onsdagar från kl. 15.00-17.00 i salen Maria Ressa.

Studie- och yrkesvägledning

Under tiden som du studerar på Tora Vega kan du få vägledning kring dina studier och arbete. På syv.toravega.se (Fråga SYV) hittar du information och svar på vanliga frågor, och där kan du också boka tid för vägledningssamtal med vår studie- och yrkesvägledare.

Welcome to a new week at SFI!

SFI Evaluation

We would like to remind everyone to complete the SFI evaluation. We are very grateful for your feedback on your SFI studies. Your responses are important and help us develop and improve the teaching.

The link to the evaluation can be found in your Classroom. Your mentors can give you more information and show you where to find the link.

Please note: If you started your studies in November, you should not fill in the survey.

Changed opening hours at the reception in Lund

Starting this week, the reception in Lund will only be open Monday–Wednesday from 08:00 to 12:30. On Thursdays and Fridays, the reception is closed. When the reception is closed, you can always contact us by email: sfiinfo@toravega.se or by calling 046-461 52 00 for help.

Study Workshop in Lund

At the study workshop, you can get help and support with your studies and homework even after class hours.

You are welcome to the study workshop on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 15.00 to 17:00 in the Maria Ressa room.

Study and career guidance

While studying at Tora Vega, you can get guidance regarding your studies and career. At syv.toravega.se (Fråga SYV), you can find information and answers to frequently asked questions, and you can also book a guidance session with our guidance counsellor.

Tillsammans skapar vi trivsel

Nu är höstterminen igång för alla våra utbildningar. Vi ser fram emot en termin fylld av möten, lärande och gemenskap tillsammans med både nya och tidigare deltagare!

Vi har en fantastisk arbets- och studiemiljö och vi vill påminna alla om att det är viktigt att vi tillsammans tar ansvar för att ta hand om och underhålla detta.

Inomhus

Ställ i ordning efter dig och se till att det ser snyggt ut när du lämnar ett klassrum eller annat rum i våra lokaler.
Utrymningsvägarna måste alltid vara fria och inte blockerade.
Avfall/sopor ska alltid slängas i avsett sopkärl.
Inga skor på möbler och liknande.

Utomhus

Vi ser att allt fler pappermuggar med vår logga ligger på marken utanför skola. Tänk på att Avfall/sopor alltid ska slängas i avsett sopkärl. Detta gäller givetvis på vägen till och från skolorna i Åkarp och Lund också.

Elscooter inomhus.

Tänk på att inte ställa din Elscooter så att den inte blockerar dörrar eller utrymningsvägar. Det är också viktigt att tänka på att batteriet måste förvaras i en brandsäker väska och batteriet får inte laddas inomhus!

Kaffe och annan dryck i lokalerna

Det är endast tillåtet att ta med sig vatten in i klassrummen. Ni får gärna dricka kaffe och annan dryck i loungen. Tack för förståelsen och hjälp med detta!

Nöt- och parfymfri skola

På grund av allergier är det viktigt att tänka på att vi är en nöt- och parfymfri skola.

Rökning

Det är viktigt att man inte står och röker vid skolans ingång utan att man går längre ut på gatan när man ska röka.

Cykelparkering

Cykelparkering finns längs med gågatan. Tänk på att det inte är tillåtet att parkera cyklar på innergården. Tack för förståelsen och hjälp med detta!

Ledighet från studier

SFI pågår året om. Om du planerar att vara ledig finns det information och riktlinjer som är viktiga att tänka på. Nedan kan du läsa om rätt till ledigheter beroende på vilken kommun som du tillhör.

Deltagare som bor i Staffanstorps kommun

Staffanstorps kommun har bestämt att man inte får ledighet under sin studietid på SFI. Vill du ta ledigt från studier hänvisar vi till din kommun med ansökan. Om din kommun beviljar ledighet behöver du meddela skolan och lämna in en ansökan.

Deltagare som bor i Lunds eller Burlövs kommun.

Du har möjlighet att ansöka om max tre veckors ledighet under ett studieår. Ledighetsansökan bedöms utifrån närvaro, studieaktivitet och progression. För en giltig frånvaro behöver du få din ansökan godkänd innan du tar ledigt.

Om du planerar att vara ledig i sommar så behöver du lämna in din ledighetsansökan så snart som möjligt, senast två veckor innan planerad ledighet. Du ansöker om ledighet genom att klicka på följande länk: https://toravega.se/leave-request/ . Observera att vi inte tar ansvar för eventuellt ekonomiskt bortfall orsakat av ledighet från studier.

Together We Make Our School Welcoming

The autumn term has now started for all our courses. We look forward to a term filled with meetings, learning, and community, together with both new and returning students!

We have a fantastic work and study environment, and we want to remind everyone that it is important that we all take responsibility for maintaining the space we use.

Indoors

When you leave a classroom, please ensure the lights are turned off, windows and doors are closed, and the space is tidy.
Emergency exits must always be clear and not obstructed.
Trash, especially paper cups, should always be disposed of in the appropriate bins.
No shoes on furniture or similar surfaces.

Outdoors

We have noticed that more and more paper cups with our logo are left on the ground outside the school. Remember that all waste/garbage must always be thrown in the correct bin. This also applies on the way to and from the schools in Åkarp and Lund.

Electric Scooters Indoors

Please ensure that your scooter does not block doors or emergency exits. It's also important to remember that the battery must be stored in a fireproof bag and cannot be charged indoors.

Coffee and Other Drinks,

Please note that only water is allowed in the classrooms. You are welcome to drink coffee and other drinks in the lounge. Thanks for your understanding and help!

Nut and Perfume-free School

Our school has students and staff who are allergic to nuts and perfumes. Therefore, we want to remind you that this school is nut—and perfume-free.

Smoking

Please remember that it is not allowed to stand near the entrance when smoking.

Bicycle Parking

Please park on the bicycle stands along the street outside. It is not allowed to park in the door yard.

Time Off from Studies

SFI runs year-round. If you’re planning to take time off, there are important guidelines and information to consider. Below, you’ll find details about leave policies based on the municipality you belong to.

Students Living in Staffanstorp Municipality
Staffanstorp Municipality has decided that SFI students cannot take leave during their studies. If you wish to take time off, you must apply directly to your municipality. If your application is approved, you must inform the school and submit the approved application.
Students Living in Lund or Burlöv Municipalities
You may apply for a maximum of three weeks of leave per year. Leave applications are evaluated based on attendance, study activity, and progress. To ensure your absence is excused, you must have your application approved before taking leave.

If you plan to take time off during the summer, please submit your leave application as soon as possible, no later than two weeks before your planned leave. You can apply using the following link: https://toravega.se/leave-request/. Please note that we are not responsible for any financial losses that may result from taking time off from studies.

If you plan to be away from classes for more than three weeks, you must apply for an interruption and reapply for SFI through your municipality when you want to restart your studies.
